Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse
• Manage inventory control using warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure accurate stock levels and proper storage
• Perform product stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping & receiving tasks to fulfill customer orders efficiently and accurately
• Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain precise inventory records and prevent discrepancies
• Load and unload shipments with attention to safety protocols outlined by OSHA standards while handling heavy lifting tasks
• Utilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing basic maintenance on warehouse machinery
• Organizing warehouse to maximise space
• Abiding by all company safety and hyiene regulations
• In addition to having excellent written and verbal communication skills, our ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate physical fitness, with the ability to lift up to a maximum of 50 pounds

Skills

• Extensive experience with inventory management systems.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, picking & packing
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for materials handling and heavy lifting
• Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing basic repairs or maintenance
• Prior warehouse supervisor experience or leadership skills to support team coordination and workflow efficiency
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures to optimize stock accuracy
