We are currently hiring a <b>Cook</b> to join our outstanding culinary team and support our mission of providing exceptional dining experiences for residents.</div></div><div><div><b>
Wage:</b> $21.00-$23.50/hr. DOE

<b>Schedule:</b> Day Shift 8:30am-5pm 32-40hrs per week (1.0 FTE including every other weekend and holiday)</div></div><div><b>

What You&rsquo;ll Do</b></div></div><ul><li><div>
Prepare food according to recipes, dietary guidelines, and production sheets.</div></li><li><div>
Ensure food meets standards for portion control, temperature, and presentation.</div></li><li><div>
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work area.</div></li><li><div>
Utilize leftovers effectively by creating marketable dishes.</div></li><li><div>
Complete production and tally sheets accurately.</div></li><li><div>
Report malfunctioning equipment or food shortages promptly.</div></li><li><div>
Follow all safety and food handling policies.</div></li><li><div>
Reduce waste through proper portion control and efficient production.</div></li><li><div>
Collaborate with the culinary team and complete related tasks as assigned.</div></li></ul><div><div><b>
What We&rsquo;re Looking For</b></div></div><ul><li><div>
Prior food production experience, preferably in healthcare or senior living.</div></li><li><div>
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.</div></li><li><div>
Basic math skills for portioning and simple calculations.</div></li><li><div>
Knowledge of food safety and special diets.</div></li><li><div>
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.</div></li><li><div>
Experience in healthcare or senior care settings preferred.</div></li><li>
Physically able to meet job demands, including standing for long periods, lifting up to 35 lbs., and working in hot or cold environments</li></ul><div><div>
