Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct comprehensive inspections of welded joints using visual and non-destructive testing (NDT) methods such as ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant testing.</li><li>Review and verify welding procedures, welder qualifications, and material certifications.</li><li>Monitor welding parameters (voltage, current, travel speed, preheat/interpass temperatures) and ensure adherence to approved standards.</li><li>Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare inspection reports and certificates.</li><li>Identify welding defects and recommend corrective actions, issuing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when necessary.</li><li>Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.</li><li>Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and production teams to integrate quality control measures.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Certification such as CSWIP 3.2, AWS Certified Welding Inspector, or equivalent.</li><li>Minimum 3+ years of experience as a welding inspector, preferably in the oil and gas, construction, or industrial sectors.</li><li>Advanced knowledge of welding techniques (TIG, MIG, arc, etc.) and ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.</li><li>Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and effective communication abilities.</li><li>Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX, ISO 3834, etc.)</li></ul>This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and safety of welded structures across various industries, especially in construction, oil and gas, and manufacturing.Job Type: Full-timePay: Up to ﷼38.00 per hourExpected hours: 65 per week
