Position Summary:<br>
The Human Resources and Talent Acquisition Intern will provide critical support to ESF's Talent Operations Team. The role encompasses responsibilities across recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, background checks, and compliance for prospective and new employees.</p><div><br>
Location:<br>
<ul><li>ESF Headquarters, Bryn Mawr, PA</li><li>Primarily in-person, with occasional hybrid work possible</li></ul></div><div><br>
Hours &amp; Compensation:<br>
<ul><li>Paid internship for 5-6 months</li><li>Start: January or February, end: July or August</li><li>Weekly Hours (estimated):</li></ul>
o 1st month: 20-30 hours per week.<br>
o Middle 4 months: 30-40 hours per week.<br>
o Final month: 20-30 hours per week.<br>
o There may be opportunities for additional hours or extended employment based on staffing needs.<br>
<ul><li>Typical schedule: 20-40 hours/week over 3-5 weekdays, with occasional evening and weekend events</li></ul></div><div><br>
Responsibilities:<br>
<ul><li>Promote ESF Summer Camps, Pro Team Sports Camps, and BOLD pre-college programs to prospective and returning job candidates through phone, email, and in-person outreach.</li><li>Assist with sourcing and recruiting efforts to expand the candidate pool for roles such as counselors, coaches, aquatics staff, teachers, and medical staff.</li><li>Prepare for and attend career fairs, training sessions, and related events.</li><li>Serve as a resource for prospective candidates, providing information and promoting ESF's team member value proposition.</li><li>Follow up with prospective candidates, helping them complete applications and schedule interviews.</li><li>Participate in sourcing campaigns at schools, colleges/universities, and other organizations.</li><li>Support the onboarding process for new and returning team members.</li><li>Assist with hiring and onboarding tasks, including background checks, I-9 forms, health forms, clearances, and other compliance documentation.</li><li>Conduct research and provide administrative support for the Talent Operations team.</li><li>Participate in weekly team meetings to share best practices and identify areas for improvement.</li><li>Additional responsibilities as assigned.</li></ul></div><div><br>
Qualifications:<br>
<ul><li>Must be an undergraduate student at a minimum.</li><li>Experience in sourcing or recruiting is preferred. Customer service or sales experience in a high-volume phone/email environment will also be considered.</li><li>Proficiency with applicant tracking systems or similar databases is a plus.</li><li>Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, are a plus.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.</li><li>Excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking abilities</li><li>Able to work independently and problem-solve in an office setting.</li><li>Adaptability in handling unpredictable situations</li><li>Attention to detail and strong follow-through.</li><li>Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive approach to tasks</li></ul></div><div><br>
Reporting Relationship:<br>
<ul><li>Reports to the Recruiting and Talent Acquisition Directors</li></ul></div><div><br>
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:<br>
<ul><li>Majority of the time will be spent working on a computer and communicating with candidates and employees.</li><li>Some local travel, with occasional longer-distance travel to events and ESF camp locations</li></ul></div><p><br>
