Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Interior Design Assistant to join our creative team. In this role, you will support the design process from conceptualization to execution, helping bring innovative interior spaces to life. Your enthusiasm for design, combined with technical proficiency and project management skills, will contribute to delivering exceptional results for our clients. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your expertise in interior design while collaborating with talented professionals across various projects.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist senior designers in developing interior concepts using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino (Rhinoceros 3D), and 3ds Max.</li><li>Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and elevations that accurately reflect project specifications and client needs.</li><li>Support project management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with contractors and vendors.</li><li>Create visual presentations and mood boards utilizing Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, and color theory principles to communicate design ideas effectively.</li><li>Conduct site visits for renovation, remodeling, lighting installation, and construction projects to ensure design integrity and quality control.</li><li>Assist in drafting contracts, proposals, and documentation related to interior design projects.</li><li>Collaborate on lighting design and lighting sales initiatives to enhance the ambiance and functionality of interior spaces.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience or internship in interior design or related fields demonstrating proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit.</li><li>Familiarity with SketchUp, Bluebeam, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite for drafting, rendering, and presentation purposes.</li><li>Knowledge of lighting design principles, color theory, remodeling processes, construction practices, and budgeting techniques.</li><li>Understanding of project management fundamentals including scheduling, vendor coordination, and client communication.</li><li>Experience working on renovation or remodeling projects is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
