Interior Design Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Interior Design Assistant to join our creative team. Responsibilities

• Assist senior designers in developing interior concepts using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino (Rhinoceros 3D), and 3ds Max.
• Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and elevations that accurately reflect project specifications and client needs.
• Support project management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with contractors and vendors.
• Create visual presentations and mood boards utilizing Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, and color theory principles to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Conduct site visits for renovation, remodeling, lighting installation, and construction projects to ensure design integrity and quality control.
• Assist in drafting contracts, proposals, and documentation related to interior design projects.
• Collaborate on lighting design and lighting sales initiatives to enhance the ambiance and functionality of interior spaces.

Experience

• Proven experience or internship in interior design or related fields demonstrating proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• Familiarity with SketchUp, Bluebeam, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite for drafting, rendering, and presentation purposes.
• Knowledge of lighting design principles, color theory, remodeling processes, construction practices, and budgeting techniques.
• Understanding of project management fundamentals including scheduling, vendor coordination, and client communication.
• Experience working on renovation or remodeling projects is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: $38,465.00 - $45,000.00 per year
