Poaition : O&amp;M - SCADA Engineer Position Purpose:The SCADA Engineer is responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, optimization,&amp; cybersecurity of SCADA systems associated with Utility-Scale Solar PV Plants and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).Overall Responsibilities:&middot; Monitor and maintain SCADA systems for Solar PV and BESS facilities.&middot; Ensure continuous availability of SCADA servers, HMI, databases, historians, &amp; communication networks.&middot; Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on SCADA hardware and software.&middot; Configure and troubleshoot Modbus, IEC 60870-5-101/104, IEC 61850, DNP3, &amp; OPCprotocols.&middot; Integrate inverters, BMS, PCS, weather stations, meters, protection relays, PPCs, &amp; utilitySCADA systems.&middot; Monitor plant performance, alarms, and operational data.&middot; Support BESS monitoring including SOC, SOH, temperature, and charge/discharge cycles.&middot; Implement cybersecurity measures and manage user access controls.&middot; Support utility dispatch requirements and grid compliance functions.&middot; Coordinate with OEMs, EPC contractors, and third-party vendors.&middot; Working on Modbus connection with PLC.&middot; Working on IEC-104/101 gateways for SLDC communication.&middot; Trouble shooting of all device&rsquo;s communication issues.&middot; Creating and Managing Data-Logging in SQL Server.&middot; Configuring additional parameters into HMIs.&middot; Commissioning and installation of C&amp;R panels.&middot; Commissioning, installation of IED and Integration with SCADA.Minimum Experience:&middot; Minimum 5&ndash;8 years of experience in SCADA systems, including utility-scale Solar PV and/or BESS projects.&middot; Proven experience in Commissioning/Configuration of Control and relay panels.&middot; Understanding of EPC and O&amp;M contracts and project documents.Minimum Education RequirementsBachelor&rsquo;s degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering.Technical Skills:&middot; Operation and Maintenance Management.&middot; SCADA Platforms: Wonderware, Ignition, WinCC, Zenon, Power SCADA.&middot; Industrial networking, fiber optics, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and TCP/IP.&middot; SQL databases, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.&middot; Knowledge of AutoCAD.&middot; Excellent written and oral communication in English.KPIs:&middot; SCADA System Availability&middot; Communication Network Availability&middot; Alarm Response Time&middot; Mean Time to Repair (MTTR)&middot; Plant Data Accuracy&middot; Cybersecurity Compliance Status&middot; Grid Compliance PerformanceInterpersonal /Behavioral Skills:&middot; Ability to work in a broad cultural spectrum.&middot; Good negotiator.&middot; Resilience under pressure.&middot; Stakeholder management.&middot; Accountability.&middot; Good attitude.Work Location: In person

Job Title: O&amp;M Manager &ndash; Solar PV (Residential &amp; Commercial)Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in solar operations and maintenance, with at least 3 years in a mid-senior level role.Location: UgandaJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Solar Operations and Maintenance (O&amp;M) Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in remote monitoring and performance engineering, with the ability to manage and oversee the operations and maintenance of solar plants, particularly those of at least 100MW capacity. This role requires a dynamic individual with excellent technical knowledge, planning, coordination, and management skills.Key Responsibilities:&middot;Utilize advanced remote monitoring tools to oversee solar plant operations and ensure optimal performance.&middot;Identify and troubleshoot issues remotely, coordinating with on-site teams as necessary.&middot; Analyze performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.&middot;Develop and implement strategies to enhance the performance and reliability of solar plants.&middot;Create detailed O&amp;M plans, including preventive maintenance schedules, corrective maintenance, and emergency response plans.&middot;Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.&middot;Develop comprehensive O&amp;M manuals, documenting procedures, protocols, and best practices for solar plant maintenance.&middot;Manage the operations and maintenance of solar plants, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.&middot;Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and on-site teams to achieve project goals.&middot;Schedule and oversee all maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to plant operations.&middot; Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair tasks.&middot;Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, providing regular updates on plant performance and maintenance activities.&middot;Lead and mentor O&amp;M teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.Technical Knowledge Required:&middot; Proficient in remote monitoring and performance analysis tools.&middot; Strong understanding of solar PV systems, including inverters, transformers, and SCADA systems.&middot;Proven experience in managing the O&amp;M of solar plants with a capacity of at least 100MW.Tools &amp; Software:&middot; MS Excel (Basic reporting &amp; quotation)&middot; CRM Software (Lead tracking &amp; follow-up)&middot; Mobile apps for reporting / trackingRequired Skills:&middot; Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to create detailed maintenance plans and schedules.&middot;Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.&middot; Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams.Qualification:&middot;Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in electrical engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.&middot; Master's degree is preferred.Additional Requirements:&middot; Willingness to travel locally for customer meetings&middot; Experience in solar / real estate / electrical sales will be an advantage&middot;Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations related to solar plant operations and maintenance.&middot;Ability to work independently and remotely, with occasional travel to site locations as required.&middot; Certification in solar energy or related fields is a plus.Work Location: In person
