Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Sheet Metal Fabricator and Installer, where your skills will shine in the world of metalwork! In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and installing high-quality sheet metal products, ensuring precision and excellence in every project. Your expertise will contribute to a variety of construction projects, making a tangible impact on our operations and client satisfaction.What you&rsquo;ll do<ul><li>Fabricate and install sheet metal components according to specifications and blueprints.</li><li>Utilize MIG and TIG welding techniques to ensure strong, reliable joints.</li><li>Operate various tools, including power tools, hand tools, and machinery such as press brake machines for precise fabrication.</li><li>Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to execute projects accurately.</li><li>Conduct pipe threading and ductwork assembly with attention to detail.</li><li>Perform rigging tasks safely while utilizing cranes and forklifts for material handling.</li><li>Ensure compliance with ASME codes &amp; standards throughout all fabrication processes.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience in construction environments with a strong focus on sheet metal work.</li><li>Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and plasma cutting techniques.</li><li>Familiarity with measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for precise measurements.</li><li>Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot fabrication issues effectively.</li><li>Basic math skills for accurate calculations during fabrication processes.</li><li>Experience with assembly processes, including soldering and machining tasks.</li><li>Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not required.</li><li>A proactive attitude towards learning new techniques and improving skills in the field.</li></ul>Why you&rsquo;ll love it here We are dedicated to fostering an environment where our employees can thrive both personally and professionally!
