&lt;Job Summary&gt; We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Part-Time STEM Teacher to inspire and educate students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This position is perfect for educators eager to make a meaningful impact while working flexibly within a collaborative team.&lt;Responsibilities&gt;<ul><li>Design engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across various STEM disciplines, including physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics.</li><li>Deliver interactive lessons that incorporate modern learning technologies and hands-on laboratory activities to enhance student understanding.</li><li>Assess student progress regularly through quizzes, projects, standardized tests, and formative assessments; provide constructive feedback to support growth.</li><li>Mentor students individually or in small groups to address diverse learning needs and foster academic confidence.</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional strategies, and extracurricular STEM initiatives.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student achievements in accordance with school policies.</li><li>Coach and support colleagues on how to integrate STEM</li><li>Lead &amp; support school 's Cognia STEM re-certification process.</li></ul>&lt;Skills&gt;<ul><li>Strong knowledge of STEM subjects such as trigonometry, geometry, calculus, algebra, differential equations, organic chemistry, biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, microbiology, cell biology, and discrete math.</li><li>Proven experience in curriculum development and instructional design tailored to diverse student populations.</li><li>Laboratory experience including dissection techniques and research laboratory practices; familiarity with scientific research methods.</li><li>Excellent classroom management skills coupled with effective communication skills for working with students of varying ages and backgrounds.</li><li>Proficiency in integrating learning technology tools into lesson plans for enhanced engagement and understanding.</li><li>Ability to prepare students for standardized testing through targeted tutoring and review sessions.</li><li>Experience in higher education teaching or private school environments is preferred; familiarity with special education strategies is a plus.</li><li>Strong organizational skills for lesson planning, research activities, and educational administration tasks.
