<div><div>Cycle Count Specialist
The Cycle Count Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records through daily cycle counting activities. This critical role ensures the integrity of our inventory data within the Sage ERP system, facilitates efficient material flow, and supports overall operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, possess excellent organizational skills, and be proficient in operating material handling equipment. They will perform all advanced ERP/WMS inventory functions associated with all physical inventory items at Evapco West, under minimal supervision. This position will report directly to the Materials Manager. 
Job Responsibilities<ul><li>
Execute daily cycle count procedures for materials in accordance with established schedules and company policies</li><li>
Accurately count and verify physical inventory quantities against system records.</li><li>
Operate forklifts and/or man lifts safely and efficiently to access inventory at various heights within the stockroom, yard, and production areas.</li><li>
Collaborate effectively with other departments (e.g., Production, Shipping, Receiving, Quality Control) to coordinate and perform counts of their specific inventory items, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.</li><li>
Utilize handheld scanners and other relevant equipment to accurately scan and record cycle count data directly into the Sage ERP System.</li><li>
Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.</li><li>
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.</li><li>
Participate in year-end physical inventory counts as required.</li><li>
Assist with other stockroom and inventory-related tasks as needed.</li><li>
Receives and inspects incoming and outgoing materials and reports non-conformities</li><li>
Fills orders from storage areas and delivers to designated departments</li><li>
Meet or exceed annual safety, quality, 6-S, and productivity success targets</li><li>
Attend training courses as directed by management</li><li>
Performs other related duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Job qualifications<ul><li>
High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred.</li><li>
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in inventory control, cycle counting, or a similar role within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.</li><li>
Proven ability and certification to safely operate a forklift preferred. On-site training is available if necessary.</li><li>
Proven ability and certification to safely operate a man lift equipment (e.g., scissor lift, boom lift) preferred. On-site training is available if necessary.</li><li>
Experience with inventory scanning devices, WMS Scanning and ERP systems; direct experience with Sage ERP is preferred.</li><li>
Strong mathematical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.</li><li>
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.</li><li>
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively to meet daily targets.</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)</li></ul>
Location:
Position will be in-office, based in Madera, California.
Compensation:
We offer competitive compensation based on experience. The pay range is $21.65 - $28.56 hourly.
