Responsibilities<ul>
<li>
Perform routine and emergency repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems and others as needed.</li>
<li>Handle general building upkeep and repairs as needed.
</li><li>Routinely inspect facilities and equipment/machines for safety hazards or maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.</li>
<li>Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, materials used, and service requests.</li>
<li>Monitor necessary supplies, materials, and equipment and communication of facility needs to purchasing department.</li>
<li>Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized jobs that may be beyond the scope of the in-house team.</li>
<li>Assemble and dismantle machinery and equipment, using hand-held tools and power tools.</li>
<li>Follow and help create layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings for installation.
</li><li>Move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers and trucks.</li>
<li>Maintain a safe and clean workstation.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Full time, single shift: 5 days/8 hours per day schedule: 7:00 am-3:30 pm Monday-Friday</li>
<li><ul><li> Overtime work may be available for non-exempt employees</li></ul></li>
</ul>
Requirements<ul>
<li>
Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and attitude toward safety
</li><li>Skilled with a variety of both small and large hand and power tools, overhead cranes, hoists, man-lifts, forklifts and related tools and moving equipment.</li>
<li>Proficiency in one or more trades, such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or HVAC.</li>
<li>Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions.</li>
<li>Strong organizational and time management skills.</li>
<li>Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.</li>
