If you are interested in making a difference in the community by providing excellent care, consider applying to join our team.Job Responsibilities The Human Resources Specialist/Generalist serves as a liaison between employees and management. This position will serve as a subject matter expert in their duties and will implement best practices as it relates to human resource process and procedures.<ul><li>Coordinating job postings, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, scheduling interviews and employee onboarding.</li><li>Manage payroll process including document preparation, reviewing time cards and reimbursement claims.</li><li>Manage staff's schedules including late alerts/call offs, time off or leave requests.</li><li>Serve as an information resource for employees and supervisors being the first point of contact for employment questions.</li><li>Conduct investigations on misconduct, discrimination/harassment claims, providing perspective on how the company should proceed.</li><li>Ensure compliance with any local, state, and federal laws and regulations, managing risk, and updating HR records to ensure they are accurate.</li><li>Develop and implement employee recognition and training programs.</li><li>Maintain confidentiality and follow all HIPAA guidelines.</li><li>Participate in on-call rotation.</li><li>Manage incoming staff phone calls and text messages.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field</li><li>2+ years of experience in Human Resources; direct experience in healthcare and home health care industry preferred</li><li>Demonstrated understanding of employee relations, employment law, compensation, and employee engagement.</li><li>PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred</li><li>Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with valid auto insurance</li></ul>Preferred Attributes<ul><li>Responsible for ensuring programs are run according to the organization&rsquo;s mission</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.</li><li>Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Strong collaborator and team player</li></ul>Perks and Benefits:<ul><li>Paid Time Off (PTO) for all employees</li><li>Earned Sick Time</li><li>401K plan</li><li>Holiday Pay</li><li>Mileage Reimbursement</li><li>Growth and Development Opportunities</li><li>Paid training and orientation</li><li>Employee Recognition: Birthday Stipends, Shift Pickup Stipends, Employee of the Month</li></ul>Equal Opportunity EmployerJob Type: Full-timePay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Eagan, MN 55121 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Eagan, MN 55121: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
