Job description

Excel Care LLC is seeking professional, passionate, fun-loving individuals to join our team as a Direct Support Professional. We are looking for individuals to assist clients with daily life activities. We offer flexible hours for everyone. The primary responsibility of the Direct Support Professional (DSP), is to provide direct care to our clients. Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Homemaking
• Ensuring the safety and well-being of clients
• Assisting with hygiene management
• Independent living skills: Help each client reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with daily living activities.
• Documentation of daily activities
• Communication regarding concerns of the clients: Observe client and report any changes in physical and emotional condition to the supervisor.
• Transporting clients within the community: Assisting with appointment setting, taking to and from appointments, assist with Shopping
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with valid auto insurance (Required)
• 1+ years of experience providing direct care to individuals or vulnerable populations
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Empathy and compassion while providing care
