This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives while developing your skills in early childhood education and caregiving.Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide attentive care to children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs.</li><li>Design and implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and emotional well-being.</li><li>Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to health and safety standards, including first aid procedures when necessary.</li><li>Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and implementing behavior management strategies.</li><li>Collaborate with parents, teachers, and special education professionals to support individual learning plans and developmental goals.</li><li>Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and outdoor play to ensure comfort and safety.</li><li>Document children's progress and communicate effectively with families about their child's development and activities.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or classroom settings is highly preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.</li><li>Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a caring environment.</li><li>Strong communication skills to collaborate with families, colleagues, and specialists.</li><li>Patience, compassion, and enthusiasm for working with children of diverse backgrounds and needs.</li><li>Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as lifting infants or assisting children during activities.
