Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in general dentistry and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. This role involves providing comprehensive dental care, overseeing clinical operations, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care in a supportive environment. The Lead General Dentist will work closely with staff to foster a culture of excellence and patient-centered service.Duties<ul><li>Deliver high-quality general dentistry services, including examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.</li><li>Perform dental procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics.</li><li>Conduct patient assessments and provide thorough medical documentation while adhering to HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Utilize dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix for patient management and record-keeping.</li><li>Supervise and mentor dental staff in four-handed dentistry techniques and infection control protocols.</li><li>Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.</li><li>Collaborate with pediatric patients to provide tailored care in pediatric dentistry.</li><li>Implement aseptic techniques during procedures to ensure patient safety.</li><li>Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices to enhance patient care.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proficient in dental terminology and medical terminology relevant to patient care.</li><li>Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental procedures.</li><li>Experience with medical imaging techniques for accurate diagnostics.</li><li>Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while leading by example.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in managing a dental clinic or office setting is preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is a plus.
