Lead General Dentist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in general dentistry and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. This role involves providing comprehensive dental care, overseeing clinical operations, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care in a supportive environment. Duties

• Deliver high-quality general dentistry services, including examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
• Perform dental procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics.
• Conduct patient assessments and provide thorough medical documentation while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Utilize dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix for patient management and record-keeping.
• Supervise and mentor dental staff in four-handed dentistry techniques and infection control protocols.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with pediatric patients to provide tailored care in pediatric dentistry.
• Implement aseptic techniques during procedures to ensure patient safety.
• Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices to enhance patient care.

Skills

• Proficient in dental terminology and medical terminology relevant to patient care.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental procedures.
• Experience with medical imaging techniques for accurate diagnostics.
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while leading by example.
• Demonstrated experience in managing a dental clinic or office setting is preferred.

Projected Total Compensation: $240,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
