OverviewWe are seeking a detail‑oriented, skilled Seamstress to join our finishing and fabrication team within a large-format display and graphics printing environment. This role focuses on sewing and fabric finishing for printed soft‑signage products such as banners, backdrops, silicone-edge graphics (SEG), and custom textile displays. The ideal candidate has industrial sewing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production setting.Key ResponsibilitiesSewing &amp; Fabric Finishing<ul><li>Operate industrial sewing machines (e.g., walking-foot, serger, straight stitch) to finish printed fabrics and graphic materials.</li><li>Sew hems, pole pockets, zippers, and Velcro for banners and display graphics.</li><li>Produce silicone-edge (SEG) seams and other specialty fabric finishing techniques.</li><li>Ensure high-quality seams, alignment accuracy, and professional finishing standards.</li></ul>Production Support<ul><li>Inspect printed materials for defects before and after sewing.</li><li>Measure, cut, and prepare fabrics according to job specifications.</li><li>Work with production staff to meet daily schedules and deadlines.</li><li>Assist with installation prep, reinforcement, grommet placement, and other finishing work when needed.</li></ul>Quality Control<ul><li>Maintain consistency in stitching, tension, alignment, and overall product quality.</li><li>Identify and correct defects, material flaws, or sewing machine performance issues.</li><li>Follow company standards and project instructions with accuracy.</li></ul>Equipment Care<ul><li>Perform basic maintenance on sewing machines (threading, cleaning, tension adjustments).</li><li>Report mechanical issues and ensure tools and work areas remain clean and organized.</li></ul>QualificationsRequired<ul><li>1&ndash;3 years of experience as a seamstress, tailor, or sewing machine operator.</li><li>Proficiency with industrial sewing machines and fabric-handling techniques.</li><li>Ability to read measurements, follow specifications, and work on custom projects.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.</li><li>Ability to stand, lift, and handle large rolls of fabric as needed.</li></ul>Preferred<ul><li>Experience working in a large-format printing or soft signage environment.</li><li>Knowledge of SEG finishing, banner sewing, and textile display fabrication.</li><li>Familiarity with production workflows and job-ticket systems.</li></ul>Working Conditions<ul><li>Fast-paced production environment with tight deadlines.</li><li>Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and handling of large fabric pieces.</li><li>Use of sewing machinery, cutting tools, heat presses, and finishing equipment.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: From $19.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>Day shift</li></ul>Work Location: In person
