Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process, ensuring that materials and supplies are acquired efficiently and cost-effectively. This position requires strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of supply chain management, vendor relationships, and inventory control.Duties<ul><li>Coordinate purchasing activities to ensure timely procurement of materials and supplies.</li><li>Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts and terms to secure favorable agreements.</li><li>Collaborate with production teams to understand material needs and ensure alignment with fabrication schedules.</li><li>Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate records of all transactions.</li><li>Conduct regular audits of purchase orders and procurement processes to identify areas for improvement.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience in supply chain management or procurement management is preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of HVAC and Plumbing is preferred but not a requirement.</li><li>Ability to analyze data effectively to make informed purchasing decisions.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective vendor management.</li><li>Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making within the procurement process.</li></ul>Monday thru Friday 7AM - 5 PMOn call rotationJob Type: Full-timePay: $46,783.36 - $56,341.25 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
