Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process, ensuring that materials and supplies are acquired efficiently and cost-effectively. This position requires strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of supply chain management, vendor relationships, and inventory control.

Duties

  • Coordinate purchasing activities to ensure timely procurement of materials and supplies.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts and terms to secure favorable agreements.
  • Collaborate with production teams to understand material needs and ensure alignment with fabrication schedules.
  • Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
  • Conduct regular audits of purchase orders and procurement processes to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in supply chain management or procurement management is preferred.
  • Knowledge of HVAC and Plumbing is preferred but not a requirement.
  • Ability to analyze data effectively to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective vendor management.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making within the procurement process.

Monday thru Friday 7AM - 5 PM

On call rotation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46,783.36 - $56,341.25 per year
