 Job Title: Technical Manager - (12 month contract)

 Key Roles and Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 &bull; Monitor contractor performance related to schedule, quality, and compliance with plans and specifications.
 
 
 &bull; Lead negotiations regarding changes to the scope of work with clients and key subcontractors.
 
 
 &bull; Follow up on all instructions, agreements, and commitments associated with project delivery.
 
 
 &bull; Participate in meetings with regulatory agencies and public stakeholders when required.
 
 
 &bull; Oversee the development of essential project documentation, including the Project Execution Plan, Health &amp; Safety Plan, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan.
 
 
 &bull; Establish program requirements for all project areas and ensure draft and final deliverables meet these criteria.
 
 
 &bull; Plan, direct, and supervise all business, technical, financial, and administrative functions of assigned projects.
 
 
 &bull; Provide guidance on field engineering procedures, construction methods, and financial considerations.
 
 
 &bull; Contribute to performance reviews and development plans for project personnel.
 
 
 &bull; Plan and ensure appropriate staffing, execution, and monitoring of all field engineering activities and support operations.
 
 
 &bull; Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and execution plans.
 
 
 &bull; Ensure project goals are met or exceeded according to established plans.
 
 
 &bull; Work with project teams to identify corrective actions for potential delays, cost overruns, or significant scope changes.
 
 
 &bull; Advise both client and internal management on any required adjustments or changes.
 
 
 &bull; Maintain accurate and timely documentation of change orders.
 
 
 &bull; Monitor and report project progress, highlighting major milestones and any risks affecting cost or schedule.
 
 
 &bull; Lead weekly project review meetings to evaluate status and define action items.
 
 
 &bull; Perform additional duties relevant to the role as required.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Candidate Requirements:
 
 
 
 &bull; Proven leadership capability.
 
 
 &bull; Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical or construction field.
 
 
 &bull; 15+ years of relevant construction-phase experience, including at least 5 years in project management.
 
 
 &bull; Broad technical and business background; professional registration may be required.
 
 
 &bull; Strong project management skills, with the ability to interface confidently with clients and remain technically hands-on when needed.
 
 
 &bull; Ability to contribute to design-related discussions and decisions as required.
 
 
 &bull; Proficiency in scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, with strong skills in sequencing and project timeline management.
 
 
 &bull; Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
 
 
 &bull; Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 
 
 &bull; Highly organized, detail-oriented, and methodical in approach.
 
 
 &bull; Forward-thinking mindset with the ability to challenge the status quo and propose improvements.

 Requirements

 Minimum of 3 years' experience in web application development

 </li>

 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work independently and manage deliverables in a contract-based environment
 </li>

 Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working on enterprise, regulated, or high-availability platforms is an advantage
 </li>
