Job Description:Zeal Salon is seeking a dedicated Shampoo/Styling Assistant to support our lead stylist and team in prepping guests for hairstyling and coordinating daily salon activities. The ideal candidate has a passion for beauty trends, fashion, and hairstyling, and thrives in a customer-focused environment. Your role will be essential in creating an exceptional experience for our guests.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Shampoo and prep guests for styling.</li></ul><ul><li>Engage with clients, learn their preferences, and build positive relationships.</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure guests are comfortable and enjoy an optimum service experience.</li></ul><ul><li>Respond to emails and phone inquiries professionally.</li></ul><ul><li>Monitor stock levels of beauty products.</li></ul><ul><li>Schedule appointments and manage booking inquiries.</li></ul><ul><li>Recommend products and services based on guest needs.</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain and update guest information in our systems.</li></ul><ul><li>Capture videos and photos to showcase our work on social media.</li></ul><ul><li>Collect feedback to ensure every guest leaves satisfied.</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain a clean and organized work environment.</li></ul><ul><li>Assist with social media content creation.</li></ul>Skills:<ul><li>Previous salon experience or familiarity with salon tools and equipment.</li></ul><ul><li>Strong customer service skills are highly desirable.</li></ul><ul><li>Up-to-date with current hair trends (e.g., colors, styles).</li></ul><ul><li>Basic proficiency with Apple software.</li></ul><ul><li>Familiarity with social media platforms.</li></ul><ul><li>Record-keeping and organizational skills.</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to manage emails and appointments efficiently.</li></ul><ul><li>High school diploma or beauty school experience is a plus.</li></ul>If you&rsquo;re passionate about hair, beauty, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, we would love to hear from you.
