Job Summary Eye Level Learning Center is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Math Teacher to teach students from basic foundational math through Grade 8 mathematics. The ideal candidate will have a strong mathematics background and a passion for helping children develop confidence and problem-solving skills.Teachers will work in a small-group setting with up to 4 students per class, providing individualized instruction and support based on each student's learning needs.Responsibilities<ul><li>Teach math concepts ranging from basic arithmetic and number sense to Grade 8-level mathematics.</li><li>Provide individualized instruction based on student skill levels and learning goals.</li><li>Guide students through the Eye Level Math curriculum.</li><li>Help students develop strong computational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.</li><li>Create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.</li><li>Communicate professionally with parents and center staff regarding student progress.</li><li>Encourage student confidence, independence, and academic growth.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, Elementary Education, Engineering, Science, or a related field preferred.</li><li>Strong knowledge of mathematics from foundational skills through Grade 8 curriculum.</li><li>Previous teaching or tutoring experience with elementary and middle school students preferred.</li><li>Excellent communication and classroom management skills.</li><li>Patient, organized, dependable, and passionate about education.</li><li>Ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly and effectively.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience teaching or tutoring in a classroom, learning center, or educational program.</li><li>Familiarity with differentiated instruction and individualized learning plans.</li><li>Experience preparing students for academic success in school mathematics.</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Small class sizes (maximum 4 students per class).</li><li>Supportive and collaborative work environment.</li><li>Flexible scheduling options.</li><li>Training on the Eye Level curriculum and instructional methods.</li><li>Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student achievement and confidence.</li></ul>Pay: From $18.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Referral program</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Associate (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
