We strive to create a welcoming environment for both patients and staff, where professionalism, teamwork, and growth are encouraged.Work Environment<ul><li>Modern, well-equipped office</li><li>On-the-job training provided</li><li>Opportunities for professional growth</li><li>Flexible scheduling options</li><li>Safe, supportive team environment</li></ul>Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct preliminary vision testing, including but limited to visual acuity, visual fields, and autorefraction</li><li>Obtain and document patient medical histories in the EHR system</li><li>Assist with contact lens fittings and educate patients on proper insertion, removal, and care</li><li>Perform diagnostic procedures such as tonometry and retinal imaging</li><li>Support front desk operations, including scheduling, phone communication, and patient check-in/check-out</li><li>Maintain accurate patient charts and records</li><li>Assist with insurance processing, basic billing, and claims submission</li><li>Provide excellent customer service and answer patient questions</li><li>Assist patients with eyewear and contact lens retail selections</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience as an optometric technician or in a healthcare/retail setting preferred but not required</li><li>Familiarity with insurance billing and medical coding is a plus</li><li>Basic math skills and comfort with retail sales helpful</li><li>Experience working with pediatric patients is a bonus</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Dependable, flexible, and team-oriented</li><li>Spanish-speaking ability helpful but not required</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Flexible scheduling</li><li>On-the-job training</li><li>Opportunities for advancement</li><li>Supportive, positive workplace culture</li><li>Major holidays off</li></ul>Schedule<ul><li>Hiring either two part-time employees or one full-time employee (total of 40 hours per week)</li><li>One weekday off (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday)</li><li>Must be available to work all Saturdays</li><li>Must be available to work all Mondays</li></ul>If you&rsquo;re interested in developing your skills in both clinical and front-office roles while working with a dedicated eye care team, we encourage you to apply and join The Eye Pros team today.
