Job DescriptionEYL 365 Project is seeking a dynamic and expressive Ventriloquist Youth educator to lead a joyful after-school enrichment program for PK&ndash;PK3 students. This is a great opportunity for performers who enjoy working with young children and sharing creativity, storytelling, and stage presence in a fun, supportive environment.Position: Ventriloquist Youth Educator (PK&ndash;PK3) &ndash; After-School EnrichmentProgram Provider: EYL 365 ProjectProgram Length: 10 weeksSchedule: Once per week during after-school hours (3:40 PM &ndash; 5:45 PM). The instructor will lead two (2) 45-minute sessions back-to-back within this program window.Culminating Event: Student Showcase Performance. The program culminates in a student showcase, celebrating student creativity and growth. Bring characters to life and inspire young performers!Students will explore:● Puppetry and ventriloquism basics● Character creation and expressive voice work● Storytelling and performance confidenceKey Responsibilities● Lead engaging, age-appropriate ventriloquism sessions● Introduce puppets, characters, and storytelling through play● Foster confidence, imagination, and collaboration● Support students in preparing for a final showcaseCompensation● $35 - $50 per hour, based on experience● Paid instructional time only● Showcase support coordinated separatelyRequired Qualifications● Experience in ventriloquism, puppetry, theater, or performance● Experience working with young children (PK&ndash;early elementary preferred)● Reliable availability for the full 10-week programRequired Compliance (Must Be Willing to Obtain)● Mandated Reporter Certification● CPR/First Aid Certification● Background clearance (per school/district requirements)How to ApplyPlease submit your resume and a brief statement describing your performance experience and interest in working with young children.
