With a growing team, it is important to align production goals with that of the corporate mission: &ldquo;Dedication to simplifying a process made difficult.&rdquo;General Job DescriptionThe Senior Fabrication Fabricator is responsible for producing fabricated products in the fabrication shop for FabACab Inc., and providing leadership, support, and training to Fabrication Technicians. Primary functions include organizing, prioritizing, fabricating, and finishing products from raw materials. The position is production-based and will perform work prioritized by product demand. The Senior Fabrication Fabricator will be responsible for maintaining organization and cleanliness in the fab shop, participating in company culture objectives, and maintaining a positive attitude. Measures of success will include beating efficiency, quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and teamwork.Major Duties and Responsibilities &middot; Attend and participate in weekly team huddles&middot; Meet semi-annually for review with the Fabrication Manager&middot; Master cutting, bending, punching, shearing, and tig/mig welding practices efficiently with a focus on quality, to FabACab&rsquo;s quality expectations and best practices&middot; Represent FabACab to suppliers, vendors, and shipping professionals&middot; Efficiently maintain a process of communication internally and with vendors &ndash; 24-hour maximum response time&middot; Lead and train fabrication technicians to help them grow&middot; Identify and report product issues to the Fabrication Manager&middot; Perform work prioritized by the Fabrication Manager&middot; Help keep the Fabrication Shop clean, organized, and clearly labeledMinor Duties and Responsibilities&middot; Perform other duties as assignedQualifications for the JobEducation:High School DiplomaExperience:(5) years metal fabricationOther (Preferred):Mechanical aptitude a plusMastery of all fabrication aspects of FabACab&rsquo;s product linePress brake operationShear operationWater Jet / Laser OperationBasic Computer Aided DraftingKey Components&middot; Computer Skills&middot; Mechanical Aptitude and Fabrication Skills&middot; Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills&middot; Communication Skills&middot; Organization and Efficiency&middot; Teamwork and Leadership Skills&middot; Ability to drive a forkliftInterested?
