Fairview Range is hiring a Custodian for Housekeeping department in Hibbing, MN. 
As a custodian, you will perform a variety of support service functions as well as project-type work and cleaning in order to keep the physical facility orderly, aesthetically attractive, clean and sanitary. 
Schedule: This position will work 72 to 80 hours per two weeks. The shift length will be 8-hours on the evening shift. Weekends: every other weekend worked

As a Custodian, you will be responsible for:</div><ul><li>
Maintains hard surface floors, project cleans, and maintains hard surface and carpeted floors</li><li>
Uses good technique to clean and refinish hard surface floors and extraction of carpeted floors.</li><li>
Applies appropriate seal and finish to floors</li><li>
Properly uses caution signs and controls traffic while doing projects</li><li>
Effectively coordinates project cleaning as not to disrupt workflow of departments and customers. Communicates with departments and plans the workflow.</li><li>
Moves furniture and puts back in correct locations.</li><li>
Provide a superior level of cleaning quality in an assigned area to maintain a clean working environment consistent with department procedures a protocol.</li><li>
Uses proper chemicals and dilution ratio's proper supplies for task and replenishes supplies.</li><li>
Demonstrates knowledge and application of infection control standards, isolation room cleaning, personal protective equipment and appropriate hand hygiene techniques.</li><li>
Follows proper procedures for assigned areas and properly document work assignments.</li><li>
Properly handles and disposes of regulated, non-regulated and recyclable waste.</li><li>
Follows proper procedures for assigned areas and properly document work assignments.</li><li>
Works independently and remains flexible to change in assignments and tasks as needed. Able to switch or take on duties including filling in Environmental Service Assistant duties, etc.</li><li>
Demonstrates knowledge of linen, assembles distributes adequate amounts of linen to locations and delivery procedures including accurately weighing and documenting weights to appropriate departments, adjusting par levels as needed and removes stained and damaged linen needing repair from inventory.</li><li>
Demonstrates knowledge and procedures and complies with all relevant laws, regulations, policies and procedures.</li><li>
Demonstrate successful completion of cleaning standards by evidence of quality inspections.</li></ul><div>
Required Qualifications</div><ul><li>
Must be 18 years of age or older</li></ul><div>
Preferred Qualifications</div><ul><li>
High School Diploma or GED</li><li>
Six months verifiable experience in working with refinishing of hard surface flooring and carpet cleaning method</li></ul>
Qualifications: $17.02- $22.96 Hourly Overview:
