This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in childcare, classroom management, and early education while working alongside passionate professionals committed to children's well-being.Duties<ul><li>Assist with supervising children during playtime, meals, naps, and educational activities in a preschool or daycare setting</li><li>Support teachers and caregivers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum focused on childhood development and early learning milestones</li><li>Engage children with interactive activities that promote social skills, creativity, and cognitive growth</li><li>Ensure the safety of all children by monitoring their behavior and environment closely; respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies using first aid when necessary</li><li>Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages learning and exploration</li><li>Collaborate with team members to develop individualized care plans for children with special needs or disabilities</li><li>Support toddlers and infants with feeding, diapering, and comforting routines while adhering to health and safety standards</li><li>Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and consistent routines to foster a respectful atmosphere</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying, or similar environments is highly preferred</li><li>Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices</li><li>Familiarity with special education techniques and working with individuals with disabilities is a plus</li><li>Certification in first aid and CPR is advantageous; willingness to obtain these certifications if not already held</li><li>Hands-on experience caring for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers through daycare or babysitting roles demonstrates your ability to handle diverse age groups effectively</li><li>Strong communication skills for collaborating with families, team members, and children to ensure a supportive environment</li><li>Spanish is a plus</li></ul>Join us in shaping bright futures!
