We currently have immediate openings for VW Certified - Service Technicians.Family VW of Burleson has Service Technician positions currently available. The preferred candidate will have:<ul><li>Prior VW, Audi, Porsche, or BMW dealer experience</li><li>State inspection license</li><li>Have 3-5 years of experience in a dealership environment</li><li>Be open to a flexible work schedule including Saturdays</li></ul>We offer a great work environment and an excellent benefits package. If you are ready for a challenging career in a fast paced environment.JOB SUMMARY: Troubleshoot issues reported by customers to fix or maintain vehicles. Includes the use of computers for dispatched repair orders and diagnostics.PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Repair vehicles brought in by customers</li><li>Perform PDI according to manufacturer requirements on new inventory</li><li>Perform used vehicle inspections as requested</li><li>Perform maintenance repairs on vehicles</li><li>Road test vehicles for quality control purposes</li><li>Enter notes on customer and in-house repair orders via computer</li><li>Provide excellent customer service while performing the following job duties:</li><li>Maintain technical knowledge at contemporary levels for all vehicles in which the company registers regular service</li><li>Comply with company standards for appearance and housekeeping</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license</li><li>ASE certification (Master Tech)</li><li>Factory training certifications.</li><li>Computer literate</li></ul>ACCOUNTABILITY:<ul><li>Accountable for safe actions in shop when working on vehicles.</li><li>Generate 100% of labor sales.</li><li>Maintain perfect CSI scores.</li></ul>ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:<ul><li>Work in noisy environment</li><li>Exposed to machinery with moving parts</li><li>Requires the use of protective clothing and equipment</li><li>Works with toxic or flammable substances</li><li>40 hours a week</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Are you a Volkswagen Certified Technician?</li></ul>Work Location: In person
