Title: Data Architect (RCM &amp; AI Systems)Location: [Remote] Reporting to: CTO / Head of EngineeringRole Summary: We are looking for a visionary Data Architect to lead the data strategy for our mature Health Claim Management Solution. As we scale in the UAE and KSA markets, you will bridge the gap between transactional RCM operations and advanced AI/ML capabilities. You will design scalable architectures that support high-volume claims processing, real-time fraud detection, and strict data sovereignty compliance (KSA PDPL / UAE Health Data Law).Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Core Architecture &amp; Scalability:</li><li>Own the end-to-end data architecture, optimizing PostgreSQL for high-concurrency transactional (OLTP) claims processing and analytical (OLAP) reporting.</li><li>Design and maintain Vector Database architectures to support the AI/ML team in implementing semantic search, medical coding automation, and RAG-based implementations.</li><li>Data Integration &amp; Orchestration:</li><li>Architect modern data pipelines using Python and Prefect for reliable, observable data workflows.</li><li>Design event-driven architectures (using Kafka or RabbitMQ) to handle real-time claim status updates and integration with external payers/providers.</li><li>Regulatory Compliance &amp; Sovereignty:</li><li>Enforce strict data residency and privacy frameworks compliant with KSA NAPHIES, PDPL, and UAE Malaffi/Nabidh standards.</li><li>Implement row-level security, encryption at rest/transit, and audit logging to meet HIPAA and regional cybersecurity standards.</li><li>Data Governance &amp; Quality:</li><li>Establish a &quot;Data as a Product&quot; mindset, ensuring high data quality for the Product and QC teams.</li><li>Implement automated data validation and schema evolution policies to prevent downstream breakages in the RCM workflow.</li><li>Interoperability:</li><li>Lead the data mapping strategies for HL7 FHIR R4, ensuring seamless data exchange with government health gateways and hospital information systems (HIS).</li><li>Collaboration &amp; Leadership:</li><li>Collaborate with the DevOps team to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for data resources.</li><li>Work closely with the AI/ML team to build efficient Feature Stores and training data pipelines.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Experience: 7+ years in data engineering/architecture, with at least 3 years in the Healthcare/RCM domain.</li><li>Database Expertise: Deep mastery of PostgreSQL (partitioning, indexing, performance tuning) and experience with Vector Databases (e.g., Milvus, Qdrant) for AI applications.</li><li>Modern Stack: Strong proficiency in Python and modern orchestration tools (Prefect, Airflow). Experience with SQLAlchemy or similar ORMs is required.</li><li>Healthcare Standards: Proven experience with healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7, ICD-10-AM, ACHI) and RCM specific workflows (Claims, Remittance, Pre-auth).</li><li>Compliance Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of KSA PDPL, NAPHIES technical requirements, and UAE Health Data protection laws.</li><li>Cloud &amp; Infrastructure: Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) with a focus on cost optimization and security.</li><li>Soft Skills: Ability to translate complex data strategies into actionable roadmaps for stakeholders and technical teams.</li></ul>Nice to Have:<ul><li>Knowledge of graph databases for provider network analysis.</li><li>Experience with open-source LLM integration (OpenRouter, local models).</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: From AED1.00 per month
