<div>SUMMARY:
We are seeking a customer-service oriented and safety conscious Fence Laborer. They should be a craftsman at heart who will provide superior service to customers in a variety of job locations in and around the Greater St. Louis area. We work year-round and supply all the needed tools, trucks and equipment for this position. This is a full-time year-round position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<div><ul><li> 
Install a variety of fence gates of varying sizes and materials.</li><li>Install small fence projects.</li></ul>

Education, Experience, Knowledge:<ul><li>
Strong attention to detail.</li><li>
Capable of performing heavy physical labor.</li><li>
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.</li><li>
Desire to exceed customers&rsquo; expectations.</li><li>
Personality to interact with customers at job sites.</li><li>
Clean and valid driver&rsquo;s license.</li><li>
Carpentry skills.</li><li>
Prior fence experience is preferred, but we are willing to train.</li></ul>
Physical Requirements:
<ul><li>Intermittently lifting 30 lbs. above knees for several hours.</li><li>
Bending at the knee in various positions for several hours.</li><li>
Need to be able to lift up to 80 lbs.</li><li>
Extensive walking each day.</li></ul>
Work Environment:
Since this position is year-round and mostly outside, you will need to be able to work in various weather conditions, such as heat/humidity, rain and cold.
Compensation and Benefits:<ul><li>
Full time nonexempt position.</li><li>
$25 - $30 per hour.</li><li>

Fence &amp; Deck Depot, founded in 2001, installs fences and decks to both residential and commercial customers. We view ourselves as a services company that builds fences and decks. As one of the largest providers in the St. Louis market, we are a team of over 50 people and install over 40 miles of residential fencing and 60,000 square feet of decking annually. We are seeking an experienced craftsman to join our team to develop into a future crew leader. This position is year-round (non- seasonal position) from 6am-midafternoon, project length varies day to day.
DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:<ul><li>
Laying out jobs</li><li>
Managing job operations, delegating tasks and managing crew.</li><li>
Loading and unloading materials</li><li>
Digging holes and using shovels</li><li>
Using basic hand tools (tape measures, hammers, speed square)</li><li>
Using basic power tools (circular saws, nail guns, drills, impact screw gun).</li><li>
Reading a level</li><li>
Driving vehicles</li><li>
Daily reporting on job progress and production issues to Production Manager</li><li>
Working occasionally on Saturdays</li></ul>
QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>
Experienced with power tools (mainly circular saws and drills).</li><li>
Carpentry.</li><li>
Familiar with permits / inspections</li><li>
Should enjoy working outdoors.</li><li>
Good communication skills.</li><li>
Problem solving skills.</li><li>
Attention to detail.</li><li>
Previous deck experience is required.</li><li>
Ability to read blueprints is required.</li><li>
Concrete pouring / finishing is preferred but not required.</li><li>
</li></ul>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>
Being able to lift up to 80 lbs. with or without accommodations.</li><li>
Performing activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs.</li><li>
Ability to work in various weather conditions.</li></ul>
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:<ul><li>
$28-$35/hour DOE. After the training period is complete, the potential to earn $75k-$90k per year.</li><li>
