Fence Laborer

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a customer-service oriented and safety conscious Fence Laborer. They should be a craftsman at heart who will provide superior service to customers in a variety of job locations in and around the Greater St. Louis area. We work year-round and supply all the needed tools, trucks and equipment for this position. This is a full-time year-round position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Education, Experience, Knowledge:

• Strong attention to detail.
• Capable of performing heavy physical labor.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Desire to exceed customers’ expectations.
• Personality to interact with customers at job sites.
• Clean and valid driver’s license.
• Carpentry skills.
• Prior fence experience is preferred, but we are willing to train.

Physical Requirements:

• Intermittently lifting 30 lbs. above knees for several hours.
• Bending at the knee in various positions for several hours.
• Need to be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Extensive walking each day.

Work Environment:

Since this position is year-round and mostly outside, you will need to be able to work in various weather conditions, such as heat/humidity, rain and cold.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Full time nonexempt position.
• $25 - $30 per hour.
