We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our dental office. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a positive and professional experience from check-in to check-out. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will help maintain smooth front office operations, assist with patient scheduling, verify insurance benefits, and ensure accurate collection of patient out-of-pocket costs before appointments.This position offers an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, fast-paced dental team dedicated to providing outstanding patient care.Duties<ul><li>Greet patients warmly and create a friendly, professional first impression</li><li>Answer and manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, take messages, and route inquiries appropriately</li><li>Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility prior to appointments</li><li>Confirm and collect correct out-of-pocket costs before treatment or appointments</li><li>Check patients in and out, ensuring all necessary paperwork and information is complete</li><li>Schedule appointments and manage patient calendars efficiently</li><li>Maintain an organized front desk area including filing, data entry, and document management</li><li>Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence including emails, mail distribution, and messages</li><li>Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions and concerns professionally</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous front desk or receptionist experience preferred</li><li>Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred due to the large Hispanic community we serve</li><li>Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace</li><li>Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute with high accuracy</li><li>Previous dental or medical receptionist experience is a plus but not required</li><li>Positive attitude with strong customer service skills and professionalism</li></ul>Join our team and help create a welcoming environment where patients feel valued and cared for while receiving excellent dental service.Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
