We are seeking a Recruiting &amp; Onboarding Specialist to support high-volume hiring across our manufacturing &amp; distribution teams. This role is vital to keeping candidates moving from sourcing through their start date, and requires a strong focus on staying organized, highly communicative, and meeting cannabis compliance requirements.<br>
</div><div>This role is primarily remote, with willingness to travel 1-2x per month to support HR onsite operations &amp; events.</div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
Key Responsibilities</b></h3><div><b><br>
Sourcing &amp; Hiring</b></div><ul>
<li>Support hiring for high-volume manufacturing roles across multiple open roles simultaneously.</li>
<li>Proactively source candidates through job boards, referrals, local outreach, and community partnerships.</li>
<li>Conduct initial candidate screens to assess basic qualifications, availability, and role fit and schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.</li>
<li>Maintain active communication throughout the hiring process to keep candidates engaged and reduce drop-off.</li>
<li>Partner with hiring managers to align on candidate flow, interview feedback, and hiring timelines.</li>
</ul><div><b>Onboarding &amp; Compliance</b></div><ul>
<li>Own and ensure all cannabis badging and licensing requirements are completed prior to start date (guide candidates through state-specific compliance requirements and documentation).</li>
<li>Process background checks, I-9 verification, and other pre-employment onboarding steps to maintain regulatory compliance.</li>
<li>Manage onboarding timelines to support group start dates and high-volume hiring, and proactively follow up to prevent delays, incomplete documentation, or onboarding drop-off that may result in missed hiring deadlines.</li></ul><br>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise</b></h3><br>
<ul>
<li>
21+ years old (industry requirement).</li>
<li>Proactive, with the ability to manage time and priorities independently.</li>
<li>2&ndash;4 years of experience in recruiting, coordination, or high-volume hiring environments (agency experience a plus).</li>
<li>Experience supporting hiring for hourly or operational roles (manufacturing, warehouse, retail, etc.) preferred.</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.</li>
<li>Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools.</li>
<li>Experience in regulated industries (cannabis, food production, pharmaceuticals, etc.) is a plus.</li>
<li>Ability to learn and manage state-specific cannabis badging requirements.</li></ul><br>
