As our Director of Sales, you will report directly to the VP of Sales and be responsible for developing and executing statewide and regional sales strategies to meet revenue objectives. You will manage and coach a team of Account Executives, maintain a best-in-class standard of customer service, and collaborate closely with our marketing team. This position is full-time, with opportunities for on-site, remote, and field work.</div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
What You'll Do:</b></h3><br>
<ul>

<b>Lead &amp; Inspire:</b> Build, mentor, and manage a high-energy, results-driven sales team of Account Executives.</li>
<li><b>Drive Revenue Growth:</b> Develop and implement statewide sales strategies to expand distribution and exceed revenue targets.</li>
<li><b>Market Expansion:</b> Identify new opportunities to grow our footprint throughout Illinois State, with a heavy focus on the St. Louis, MO metro area</li>
<li><b>Relationship Management:</b> Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with dispensary owners and key stakeholders.</li>
<li><b>Sales Strategy &amp; Execution:</b> Work directly with the VP of Sales to develop and refine highly effective sales tactics, pricing strategies, and promotional initiatives.</li>
<li><b>Pipeline &amp; Account Management:</b> Own pre-operational pipeline management, ensuring a smooth transition from initial relationship-building to ongoing management by Account Executives.</li>
<li><b>Data-Driven Decision Making:</b> Track and analyze sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics, preparing reports for the Management Team.</li>
<li><b>Field Engagement:</b> Be in the market regularly to support your team, engage clients, and stay ahead of industry trends.</li>
<li><b>Cross-Department Collaboration:</b> Coordinate with marketing on product launches, events, and promotions, and work closely with fulfillment and distribution teams to ensure exceptional service.</li>
<li><b>Compliance &amp; Industry Knowledge:</b> Ensure adherence to state regulations and industry customs while staying ahead of market shifts and consumer trends.</li>
<li><b>CRM &amp; Sales Tracking:</b> Maintain accurate client data, sales orders, and account updates in Salesforce or similar CRM systems.</li></ul><br>

What We&rsquo;re Looking For:</b></h3><br>

<b>Sales Leadership Experience:</b> 5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2+ years in a director-level role leading an outside sales team.</li>
<li><b>Proven Success:</b> Demonstrated ability to scale sales operations, grow revenue, and expand market share.</li>
<li><b>MO Market Expertise:</b> Strong understanding of the MO market as a whole, and a proven track record of success selling-in to key retailers</li>
<li><b>Strategic &amp; Hands-On:</b> Able to set vision and strategy while also rolling up your sleeves to execute</li>
<li><b>Exceptional Sales Skills:</b> Persuasion, overcoming objections, active listening, and negotiation expertise</li>
<li><b>Tech-Savvy:</b> Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite</li>
<li><b>Relationship Builder:</b> Skilled in developing and maintaining long-term business partnerships</li>
<li><b>Entrepreneurial Mindset:</b> Passion for building something dynamic in an evolving industry</li>
<li><b>High Integrity:</b> Demonstrates strong ethical conduct and professionalism in all interactions</li>
<li><b>Travel Flexibility:</b> Willingness to travel regularly within Missouri (statewide)</li></ul><br>
