This role is an integral part of our administrative team and is responsible for providing exceptional patient care while ensuring the smooth operation of the office.**Duties**- Greet patients, answer phone calls, and respond to emails in a professional and friendly manner- Manage the front desk, including scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records- Conduct insurance verification and handle billing and claims- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations- Assist with medical billing and coding using ICD-10 and Epic software- Assist with Patient Care, traige patients, helping them when necessary- Perform general office tasks, including filing, photocopying, and faxing- Inhale and prepare the exam room for patients, ensuring all equipment is clean and sanitized- Maintain a clean and organized office environment- Provide administrative support to the medical team, including preparing patient charts and gathering necessary documentation- Utilize dental terminology to effectively communicate with patients and dentists- Utilize dental terminology to effectively communicate with patients and dentists**Skills**- Experience working in a medical or dental clinic- Familiarity with medical billing and coding- Proficiency with Epic software- Knowledge of ICD-9 coding- Strong administrative and organizational skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality- Experience with dental terminology- Experience with insurance verification and billing- Experience with general office tasks- Experience with clerical tasks- Ability to inhale and prepare the exam room- Ability to work in an office environmentJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hourExperience:<ul><li>Medical receptionist: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>Spanish (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
