You&rsquo;ll be a time served tradesman with pride in your work, a desire to learn and develop with constantly evolving technology.Requirements of the Electrical Technician:Essential Experience:&middot; Experienced of reading, understanding, interpreting electrical circuit drawings and assembly working to details on drawings:o Electrical power circuits, PLC Control circuitryo Circuit protection, Switchgear / Busbar assembly,o Electrical circuit testing.o Wire looming, EMC segregation&middot; Highly skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools.&middot; Ability to plan and lay out work.&middot; A proven competence for precise assembly work.&middot; Ability to work quickly and efficiently without compromising quality.Preferred additional skills:&middot; Experience of site installation, cabling and glanding could also be beneficial at times.&middot; Mechanical assembly &amp; Machine building experience would be a bonus.&middot; Leadership, ability to teach, motivate and challenge peers and apprentices to be the best they can be and to instil in them a pride in their work and passion to produce quality work.&middot; Attitude and ability are as important as experience, so a quick learner with most of the above experiences will be of interest.While the role is mainly workshop based there is a requirement to go on site for installation work.
