Overview First Baptist Church of Jacksonville is seeking a dynamic and creative Videographer to bring visual stories to life through compelling video content. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, shooting, and editing high-quality video content that supports worship services, ministry areas, digital ministry, and special projects under the direction of the Director of Communications.Responsibilities<ul><li>Plan, shoot and edit multiple videos each week for worship services, ministry areas and digital platforms.</li><li>Produce both long-form and short-form video content for website, social media and other digital ministry needs.</li><li>Capture interviews/footage, interview, build a storyline and edit video content to tell stories of life change, promote special projects, special events and ministry initiatives.</li><li>Film and edit podcast episodes and blog sharing (via video).</li><li>Maintain and manage podcast equipment and studios, keeping setups consistent and ready for recording.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Ability to creatively develop video concepts, build the story, and plan production elements before filming begins.</li><li>Strong video shooting, lighting, audio and editing skills.</li><li>Ability to adjust lighting, framing and shooting style as needed during a shoot to support the final video concept.</li><li>Able to interview people by putting them at ease to help share information and compelling stories.</li><li>Experience producing both long-form and short-form video content.</li><li>Ability to manage time well and meet weekly and project-based deadlines.</li><li>Can work independently and collaboratively as part of a team while keeping priorities and timelines/deadlines in mind.</li><li>Must be self-motivated and detail oriented.</li><li>Possess an understanding of Christian work environment.</li><li>Affirm without reservation the Baptist Faith and Message (2000).</li><li>Demonstrate a credible profession and experience of faith in Christ.</li><li>Passionate about the mission and vision of First Baptist Church, Jacksonville.</li><li>Must be, or willing to become, a member of First Baptist Church, Jacksonville.</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>403(b)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
