We believe in-person teamwork is best)The First Class Aerospace team is growing and we have an opening for a hungry, humble and talented person to join us as a Part-Time Bookkeeper.Leesburg International Airport The Bookkeeper is responsible for day-to-day accounting functions, accruals, financial statement preparation, and performing all general accounting functions. The essential job duties include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Maintain Accounts Receivable, including preparation of monthly invoices, maintaining customer records and relationships, following up to collect stale accounts.</li><li>Maintain Accounts Payable.Monitor and reconcile multiple bank accounts, credit and debit cards. Prepare deposit and cash reports.</li><li>Maintain General Ledger and subsidiary accounts.</li><li>Reconcile Quickbooks with software reports.</li><li>Reconcile all income statement and balance sheet accounts; review for input accuracy and prepare monthly reports and journal entries.</li><li>Prepare payroll (bi-weekly) and related quarterly and year end returns.</li><li>Administer quarterly business and payroll taxes.</li><li>Assist with the annual budget and audit process.</li><li>Prepare and monitor program monthly, quarterly and annual budgets and variance reports, assist with analysis.</li><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assist with analysis.</li><li>Conduct financial analysis of programs and trend analysis of revenue and expenses.</li><li>Maintain Capital Asset Register and record depreciation.</li><li>Prepare and/or review of all expense reports for accuracy and proper expense disclosure.</li><li>Monitor and report donations, post to donor management system (Salesforce.com).</li><li>Month End Close accounting and reporting.</li><li>Annual Close for CPA review</li><li>Work with CPA on all matters related to accounting and operating procedures when needed; including year-end accounting for IRS Form 990 preparations.</li><li>Prepare and file W-2's, 1099's, 990 and 990T.</li><li>Compensation records.</li><li>Follow strict protocol for reporting and documenting any worker's comp injuries or complaints.</li><li>Review, audit and maintain all insurance records.</li><li>Assist with all Human Resources functions.</li><li>Assist on-boarding new employees</li><li>Maintain employee files with utmost discretion and privacy.</li><li>Maintain organized current year and long term financial filing system.</li></ul>Ideal candidates would have:<ul><li>Residence within 25 miles of Leesburg, FL because you must work at a desk in our office at least three days per week.</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting.</li><li>3-5 years Full Charge Non-profit Bookkeeping experience.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and willingness to learn non-profit accounting principles.</li><li>Proficient in Quickbooks Premier accounting software</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office.</li><li>Able to learn other software systems quickly and well (Salesforce.com, Constant Contact).</li><li>Highly organized and detail oriented. Able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced work environment.</li><li>Ability to interface well with staff and external contacts of the organization.</li><li>Able to work both independently and cooperatively.</li><li>High level of initiative and self-direction. Able to complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Able to meet time deadlines efficiently and accurately.</li><li>High level of confidentiality.</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $35.00 per hour
