Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will manage the financial record-keeping processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This role will use the financial management program CDM+, which is housed on our system on location. Currently not a remote position.Responsibilities<ul><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software CDM+</li><li>Perform bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between bank statements and ledger entries.</li><li>Record deposit entries, process accounts payable and receivable, and manage general ledger accounting functions.</li><li>Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to verify data integrity.</li><li>Assist with payroll processing, tax preparation, and compliance activities related to governmental accounting standards.</li><li>Prepare detailed financial reports, including financial statement writing and budget analysis.</li><li>Support month-end and year-end closing procedures by verifying account balances and preparing necessary documentation.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms.</li><li>Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and double-entry bookkeeping methods.</li><li>Knowledge of accounting practices, including balance sheet reconciliation, journal entries, and account analysis.</li><li>Familiarity with governmental accounting standards and non-profit accounting is a plus.</li><li>Ability to perform account reconciliation tasks accurately and efficiently.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; proficiency in 10-key typing is preferred.</li><li>Basic knowledge of tax regulations related to payroll and accounts payable/receivable processes.</li><li>Strong communication skills for financial report writing and collaborating with team members on technical accounting issues.</li></ul>Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hourWork Location: In person
