They seek a reliable, self-motivated individual to work as an Equipment Supervisor as part of their operations department. You need to demonstrate excellent leadership be highly organised and disciplined. <ul><li>This role is responsible for the daily supervision of allocated department(s), ensuring all procedures, standards, and health & safety policies are consistently followed.</li><li>Core responsibilities include leading and supporting technicians through effective training, guidance, and resource allocation, while maintaining professionalism and accountability across the team. </li><li>The position plays a key part in inventory control and asset management, ensuring equipment is correctly prepared, tested, stored, and tracked, with any anomalies escalated and resolved efficiently. </li><li>It also involves overseeing order fulfilment and quality control, from timely scanning and job checks to ensuring all equipment meets company presentation and compliance standards. </li><li>The role requires active contribution to process improvements, accurate documentation, and cross-department collaboration with operations, inventory, and sales teams to ensure smooth workflows. </li><li>A strong focus on health and safety underpins all aspects of the role, with responsibility for monitoring safe working practices, reporting issues promptly, and supporting initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce risk, and maintain a safe working environment.</li><li>The ideal candidate will be IT literate, with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and a good understanding of Inventory operating systems, Microsoft Teams and experience.</li><li>Demonstrate excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a drive for continuous improvement, while being positively responsive to ad hoc tasks and the dynamic needs of the industry. </li><li>Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends is also required to support the demands of the business.</li></ul> Person Specification <ul><li>Must be IT literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.</li><li>Able to learn the stock control inventory system.</li><li>Must be able to confidently communicate with clients receiving instruction and giving advice.</li><li>Be able to build strong working relationships with colleagues.</li><li>To be able to work under pressure and to challenge deadlines.</li><li>Must be able to work evenings and weekends as required.</li><li>Experience with stock control systems would be an advantage</li><li>Available to work a 40-hour week on a roster basis between the hours of 07:00 to 20:00 Monday to Saturday. Some additional weekend and evening working will be required.</li><li>Self-motivating and organising with the ability to plan workload keep track of multiple jobs.</li></ul>
