Hospice &amp; Palliative Care Physician (Part-Time)Location: Pasadena, CA | Serving Los Angeles CountyAbout UsFive Star Home Hospice is an established and reputable hospice agency with over 10 years of experience, based in Pasadena, CA, providing compassionate, high-quality end-of-life care to patients throughout Los Angeles County. As we continue to grow, we are developing and expanding our palliative care program and are seeking a motivated and collaborative physician to join our team.Position SummaryWe are seeking a California-licensed MD or DO with an interest in hospice and palliative medicine to support our clinical team and assist with the continued development of our palliative care program. This is a part-time physician role, ideal for someone who values quality-driven care and wants to be involved in program growth and collaboration.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide medical oversight for hospice and palliative care patients</li><li>Attend and participate in Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meetings</li><li>Collaborate with the clinical team to establish and guide plans of care</li><li>Conduct patient visits in home or facility settings as needed</li><li>Support the development and expansion of the palliative care program</li><li>Serve as a clinical resource to staff and referral partners</li><li>Assist with census growth through collaboration and physician-to-physician engagement</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>MD or DO with an active, unrestricted California medical license</li><li>Experience or training in hospice and/or palliative care preferred, but not required</li><li>Strong communication and collaboration skills</li><li>Interest in program development and quality improvement</li><li>Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Flexible part-time schedule</li><li>Opportunity to help build and shape a growing palliative care program</li><li>Supportive, mission-driven leadership team</li><li>Competitive compensation (commensurate with experience)</li><li>Meaningful work with a respected and established hospice agency</li></ul>Job Type: TemporaryPay: $250.00 per hourWork Location: In person
