<div><div>On-Call Onsite Technician<br>

This position provides on-demand, as-needed onsite technical support for end-users &mdash; students, teachers, support staff, and school administrators &mdash; at school buildings within a two-hour drive of the technician's home address. Unlike Five Star's full-time Onsite Technician role, this is a part-time, PRN (&ldquo;as-needed&rdquo;) position built for districts and clients that need periodic or intermittent onsite coverage, plus additional on-call dispatches, rather than a daily onsite presence.<br>

The individual in this role must possess excellent communication and troubleshooting skills, prioritize requests effectively, and remain flexible and responsive to a variable, on-call schedule across a dynamic K-12 environment.<br>
<br>
<b>Essential Functions</b></div>
<ul><li>Provide Tier I onsite technical support during scheduled visits and on-call dispatches, responding to issues submitted by school staff and/or students.</li>
<li>Coordinate availability and visit scheduling with the Head of Onsite Services, confirming visit windows, on-call windows, and expected response times.</li>
<li>Perform computer imaging, software installations, and technology inventory maintenance/repair during scheduled site visits.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot and repair various devices and peripheral equipment, including but not limited to iPads, MacBooks, Chromebooks, Windows laptops, Windows desktop PCs, and interactive whiteboards.</li>
<li>Work within Five Star's ticketing system to log detailed troubleshooting notes for each visit and escalate issues to higher-level technical support when necessary, collaborating until problems are fully resolved.</li>
<li>Communicate clearly with school personnel during each visit regarding ticket status, and with Five Star leadership regarding completed work and recurring issues.</li>
<li>Support seasonal spikes &mdash; such as device deployment/collection or back-to-school setup &mdash; on an as-needed, scheduled basis.</li>
<li>Uphold Five Star's quality-of-service standards on every visit, including single-visit or infrequent engagements.</li>
<li>Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues; a problem-solving mindset; and a customer service background with excellent communication skills.</li>
<li>A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel within a two-hour radius of home address.</li>

<li>Coverage Area: Within a two-hour drive of the technician's home address; specific district(s) assigned accordingly</li>
<li>Estimated Frequency: 2&ndash;5 visits per month, plus on-call as needed</li>
<li>Dispatch Notice: At least one week's notice for scheduled visits; shorter notice may apply for urgent/emergency tickets</li>

<p></p><div><div><p>The primary focus of this position is to provide daily onsite technical support for end-users, including students, teachers, support staff, and school administrators of North West Hendricks.</p>
<p>The individual in this highly visible position must possess excellent communication and troubleshooting skills while prioritizing requests and remaining adaptable to a dynamic K-12 environment. Responsibilities and requirements include but are not limited to the following:</p>
<p>Responsibilities and Expectations</p>
<p>Provide Tier I onsite technical support for the school by responding to issues submitted by the school staff and/or students.</p>
<p>Schedule and execute device deployment at the beginning of the school year and collection of 1:1 devices at the end of the school year</p>
<p>Perform computer imaging and software installations and maintain/repair technology inventory.</p>
<p>Troubleshoot and repair various devices and peripheral equipment including, but not limited to, iPads, Macbooks, Chromebooks, Windows laptops, Windows Desktop PCs, interactive whiteboards, etc.</p>
<p>Work within our ticketing system to maintain detailed troubleshooting notes and escalate problems to higher-level technical support professionals when necessary, collaborating and communicating until problems are fully resolved</p>
<p>Collaborate with Onsite Services Leadership and Client Experience team to ensure clear communication with school personnel regarding the status of tickets, projects, and other important technology updates and changes</p>
<p>Upholding Five Star quality of service onsite while also actively participating virtually in weekly 1-on-1s with Five Star leadership, monthly Onsite Services team meetings, and company learning events</p><br>
