We are looking for a customer-friendly and passionate employee that likes the challenge of a fast pace setting and working in a team environment within our growing practice where patients and employees are our top priority.We are looking to fill a Part-time or PRN position which could become full-time if the person wants within a few weeks for the right person.This position requires fast, accurate charting and note-taking, as well as strong clinical judgement. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and enjoy working independently to room patients, update charts, obtain x-rays after certification, and assist with setup and procedures.Responsibilities: (Not an all-inclusive list, as the job is multifacited)<ul><li>Accurately type medical information into the computer.</li><li>Accurately transcribe information from a variety of sources, such as medical records, insurance forms, and physicians' orders.</li><li>Communicate with a range of healthcare providers regarding patient information.</li><li>Perform general administrative tasks such as filing and faxing documents.</li><li>Schedule appointments.</li><li>Know the importance of confidentiality in healthcare settings and act accordingly; enter data into computer data files.</li><li>Be well-groomed and neat in appearance.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRNPay: From $18.00 per hourEducation:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)</li><li>Medical Assisting: 1 year (Preferred)</li><li>Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)</li><li>Medical office: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>BLS Certification (Preferred)</li><li>Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
