We are looking to fill a Part-time or PRN position which could become full-time if the person wants within a few weeks for the right person.

This position requires fast, accurate charting and note-taking, as well as strong clinical judgement. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and enjoy working independently to room patients, update charts, obtain x-rays after certification, and assist with setup and procedures.

Responsibilities: (Not an all-inclusive list, as the job is multifacited)

• Accurately type medical information into the computer.
• Accurately transcribe information from a variety of sources, such as medical records, insurance forms, and physicians' orders.
• Communicate with a range of healthcare providers regarding patient information.
• Perform general administrative tasks such as filing and faxing documents.
• Schedule appointments.
• Know the importance of confidentiality in healthcare settings and act accordingly; enter data into computer data files.
• Be well-groomed and neat in appearance.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
• Medical Assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Medical office: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
