Our practice focuses on assisting Chinese corporate clients in resolving disputes and litigation matters in the U.S.The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated litigator to join our team as a Senior Associate or Counsel, with a clear path to partnership. The ideal candidate will be ready to take on significant responsibility in complex legal matters and contribute to the firm&rsquo;s growth and success.Candidate ProfileWe are looking for an attorney with:<ul><li>5+ years of experience in civil litigation, particularly in commercial disputes in federal and state courts.</li><li>Exposure to IP litigation (e.g., patent, trademark, or trade secret disputes) is a strong plus.</li><li>Interest in cross-border litigation, including familiarity with international discovery, service of process under the Hague Convention, and enforcement of foreign judgments.</li><li>Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.</li><li>Proven ability to manage case files, discovery, and motion practice from inception to resolution.</li></ul>Core Requirements<ul><li>Active membership in good standing of the California Bar.</li><li>Admission to another state bar (e.g., NY, TX, DC) is a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with Mandarin is a plus.</li><li>Federal clerkship experience is desirable.</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Competitive base salary starting at $150,000+, commensurate with experience.</li><li>Generous, transparent hour-based bonus structure in addition to base salary.</li><li>Current expectation of approximately 1,400 hours annually.</li><li>Genuine partnership-track opportunity for the right candidate.</li><li>Sophisticated, high-stakes cases with direct client contact and substantive, hands-on experience.</li><li>Collaborative and entrepreneurial work environment.</li></ul>How to ApplyInterested candidates should submit the following materials to Charles Cheng, Managing Partner, at charles.cheng@cbcounselor.com:<ul><li>Resume</li><li>Cover letter detailing relevant experience (particularly cross-border or IP matters)</li><li>Writing sample</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: From $150,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
