OverviewThis position is based at our Countryside Mall CLEARWATER location. Candidates that can also travel to International Plaza Tampa on occasion will be given consideration however it is NOT required.We are seeking a skilled and outgoing person to join our dynamic team. As a Foreign Currency Exchange Teller, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while executing and managing currency exchange sales.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Greet and assist customers with basic currency exchange services</li><li>Provide excellent customer service to enhance the customer experience.</li><li>Process transactions accurately and efficiently in compliance with company policies and procedures.</li><li>Balance till the beginning and end of each shift.</li><li>Maintain a balanced till and ensure all transactions are recorded properly.</li><li>Research discrepancies (short or over) and provide detailed explanation or resolution in a timely manner</li><li>Handle currency and other financial instruments with a high degree of accuracy &amp; security.</li><li>Assist with opening and closing procedures of the branch.</li><li>Follow all security procedures to protect against fraud and theft.</li><li>Identify and report suspicious activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.</li><li>Verify customer identification and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.</li><li>Maintain confidentiality of customer information</li><li>Answer phone calls &amp; general inquiries in a professional and courteous manner</li><li>Refer customers to appropriate personnel for complex issues</li><li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, and policies.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals &amp;amp; improve customer satisfaction.</li><li>Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills.</li></ul>Key Competencies<ul><li>Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills.</li><li>Integrity and Trustworthiness</li><li>Attention to Detail &amp; Accuracy</li><li>Teamwork</li><li>Cash handling</li><li>Strong numerical and analytical skills.</li><li>Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Basic computer skills.</li><li>Data entry and reconciliation tasks.</li><li>Proficiency in financial software and systems, including cash handling</li><li>Ability to maintain accurate records and adhere to strict accounting and financial regulations.</li></ul>This role does not require experience in currency exchange.
