BE HIRED ON THE SPOT, LOCAL DRIVERS WANTED (HOME DAILY)...&hellip;MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE A MANUAL (STICK SHIFT)OUR CANDIDATE CONSIDERATION PROCESS IS FAST AND ONLY CONSIST OF PASSING INTERVIEW WITH TRANSPORTATION MANAGER, PASSING OUR ON THE ROAD TEST AND BACKGROUND SCREENING.*** VETERANS WELCOME ***POSITION STARTS AT $23.50 WITH A YEARLY INCREMENT Job Title: CDL Class A DriverBenefits: GREAT BENEFIT PACKET AFTER 60 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR UNION DRIVERSFLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)Reports to: Transportation ManagerGENERAL PURPOSEThis position is responsible for delivering and picking up customer linen in a timely and professional manner within assigned routes utilizing box or trailer trucks.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVER A MANUAL (STICK SHIFT)</li><li>Operates a company owned delivery vehicle on established or alternate route as scheduled.</li><li>Delivering carts in the most time-efficient manner and collecting signed delivery tickets.</li><li>Validates the content of delivery by performing a reconciliation of carts to be delivered to customer and from customer.</li><li>Performs pre and post truck inspections daily.</li><li>Maintains the condition of the delivery truck including gas and keeping it clean.</li><li>Provides reports about any interruptions and other concerns.</li><li>Ensures compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.</li><li>Adheres to all traffic rules and DOT regulations.</li><li>Must be punctual and stringent about timings and make no delays in deliveries.</li><li>Must be prepared to work in any traffic pattern, severe weather and strict deadlines according to our business needs.</li><li>Will provide professional and courteous service to our customers and their staff at all times.</li><li>Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE A MANUAL (STICK SHIFT)</li><li>Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Must have a valid Class A driver&rsquo;s license.</li><li>Must have 3 or more years related experience.</li><li>Must have clean driving record.</li><li>Must be able to pass a drug and background test.</li><li>Must have excellent customer service skills.</li><li>Must be able to work independently, be responsible for route, and work unsupervised 90% of the time.</li><li>Must have a clear understanding of the importance of meeting deadlines and commitments.</li><li>Must be able to performance basic math operations to include addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.</li><li>The ability to effectively meet customer needs.</li></ul>Candidates will be subject to all DOT pre-hire requirementsJob Type: Full-timePay: $23.50 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
