Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Group Facilitator to lead engaging therapeutic groups within our behavioral health and mental health programs. In this role, you will facilitate group sessions that promote healing, growth, and resilience among diverse populations. Your expertise in clinical counseling, crisis intervention, and group therapy will be instrumental in creating a supportive environment that fosters positive change. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while utilizing your skills in psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, and behavioral health practices.Duties<ul><li>Lead and facilitate structured group therapy sessions focused on mental health, addiction recovery, or behavioral management.</li><li>Develop tailored session plans based on client needs, incorporating evidence-based techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and applied behavior analysis (ABA).</li><li>Conduct patient assessments and intake evaluations to determine appropriate group placement and treatment goals.</li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, ensuring comprehensive support for clients&rsquo; mental health and addiction recovery journeys.</li><li>Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and session summaries in compliance with HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Utilize crisis intervention skills to manage emergencies or disruptive behaviors during sessions effectively.</li><li>Collect data on client progress and participation to inform ongoing treatment strategies and support research initiatives.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience in psychotherapy, social work, or clinical counseling within hospital or community settings.</li><li>Strong knowledge of mental health counseling techniques such as motivational interviewing, behavioral therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT).</li><li>Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and medical records management.</li><li>Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations and case management for individuals with complex mental health or substance use issues.</li><li>Experience with crisis management, trauma-informed care including PTSD care, and addiction counseling is highly desirable.</li><li>Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality.</li><li>Excellent communication skills for conducting individual/group counseling sessions and collaborating with healthcare teams.</li><li>Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism while maintaining a positive, energetic attitude.
