Everyone here owns their work.The RoleWe&rsquo;re hiring a Sales Tax Specialist to take full ownership of multi-state sales tax compliance for our clients.This is not a &ldquo;support&rdquo; role&mdash;you will be the person making sure everything gets filed correctly, on time, across roughly 13 states. If you like clean systems, clear deadlines, and being the one people rely on, you&rsquo;ll fit right in.What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual sales tax returns across 13+ states.</li><li>Own the filing calendar&mdash;nothing slips, nothing gets missed.</li><li>Reconcile sales tax accounts and track down discrepancies (because they always exist.)</li><li>Stay current on nexus rules, rate changes, and state-specific quirks.</li><li>Work directly with clients to gather data and answer questions.</li><li>Handle registrations, amendments, and voluntary disclosures.</li><li>Respond to notices and support audits without panicking.</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>2+ years of hands-on multi-state sales tax experience (non-negotiable.)</li><li>Ability to manage multiple deadlines without babysitting.</li><li>Strong attention to detail (you notice when something is off&mdash;and fix it.)</li><li>Clear, professional communication with clients.</li><li>Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar systems is a plus.</li></ul>Why Flux<ul><li>No red tape&mdash;just smart people doing good work.</li><li>Flexible schedule (remote with optional hybrid.)</li><li>Real ownership over your clients and your workflow.</li><li>Growth opportunity as our multi-state client base expands.</li></ul>Compensation $55,000 &ndash; $75,000 depending on experience; Part-time/hourly arrangements available for the right person.
