Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT support team. The ideal candidate will provide expert-level support and manage complex infrastructure and escalations. Be a focal point for the team providing guidance and upskilling where possible. When not actively tackling escalations and helpdesk team support, project work and pre-sales tasks will be a key part of the role. An independent, self-driven, and a problem-solving attitude is a must. Tried and tested investigation and solutions architect skills desirable.This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your comprehensive knowledge of computer networking, operating systems, and hardware in a fast-paced environment, ensuring seamless IT operations and exceptional customer service.Duties&middot; Good soft skills and customer-facing skills&middot; Resolve high-level incidents and VIP user issues.&middot; Be able to design, implement and maintain infrastructure solutions&middot; Own, manage and deliver projects&middot; Manage and maintain servers and cloud platforms&middot; Troubleshoot/provide client support to a wide range of applications and services &ndash; utilizing manufacturer support and independent investigative skills.&middot; Lead escalations&middot; Mentor junior staff&middot; Presales discussions with account managers, providing information and strategic guidance.&middot; Act as escalation point for 1st line support tickets, providing guidance or ownership of tickets as needed.&middot; Diagnose and resolve a wide range of hardware, software, and network issues&middot; Manage user accounts (Active Directory, MS365)&middot; Support endpoint devices&middot; Assist with system upgrades and patching&middot; Liaise with vendors&middot; -Customer on site visit nationwide for meetings and technical works&middot; -Will involve out of hours work and projects occasionally.Technical Skills&middot; Windows Server (Linux desirable)&middot; Azure (AWS Desirable)&middot; VMware / Hyper-V&middot; Strong familiarity with Networking in business environments&middot; Microsoft 365 architecture and systems&middot; PowerShell and CMD scripting&middot; Microsoft Technical Certifications Desirable&middot; Modern Windows Desktop and Server OS&middot; Active Directory / Entra AD / Azure&middot; Microsoft 365 including SharePoint, Teams and related services.&middot; Networking fundamentals, rudimentary Switch and firewall management.&middot; Intune / Autopilot and Power Platform Familiarity Desirable.&middot; Microsoft PXE boot / imaging workflow familiarity desirablePay: &pound;28,000.00-&pound;35,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Casual dress</li><li>Free parking</li><li>On-site gym</li><li>On-site parking</li></ul>Work Location: In person
