Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Procurement Planning:</li><li>Identify and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and service.</li><li>Ensure timely availability of materials as per department requirements.</li><li>Maintain optimum inventory levels to avoid stockouts or overstocking.</li><li>Purchase Order Management:</li><li>Prepare and issue purchase orders as per approved indents and budgets.</li><li>Follow up with vendors for order confirmation, dispatch, and delivery.</li><li>Vendor Coordination:</li><li>Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships.</li><li>Negotiate rates, payment terms, and delivery schedules.</li><li>Ensure compliance with organization policies and vendor registration formalities.</li><li>Price Comparison &amp; Analysis:</li><li>Obtain quotations and prepare comparative statements.</li><li>Recommend the most cost-effective and reliable suppliers.</li><li>Documentation &amp; Record Keeping:</li><li>Maintain purchase records, GRNs, invoices, and other procurement-related documents.</li><li>Ensure all transactions comply with audit and statutory requirements.</li><li>Quality Assurance:</li><li>Coordinate with stores and user departments to ensure materials meet required specifications and quality standards.</li><li>Handle discrepancies or rejections with vendors.</li><li>Budget &amp; Cost Control:</li><li>Support in achieving cost-saving initiatives.</li><li>Ensure procurement within approved budgets.</li><li>Coordination with Accounts:</li><li>Verify vendor bills and support timely payment processing.</li><li>Resolve billing or delivery disputes promptly.</li><li>MIS &amp; Reporting:</li><li>Prepare purchase reports, vendor performance reviews, and cost analysis.</li><li>Update management on market trends and new suppliers.</li><li>Compliance &amp; Ethics:</li><li>Adhere to procurement policies and maintain transparency in all dealings.</li><li>Maintain confidentiality of pricing and supplier information.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, FresherPay: &#8377;20,000.00 - &#8377;25,000.00 per monthExpected hours: 48 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Ability to commute/relocate:<ul><li>Kangra, Himachal Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Purchasing: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Kangra, Himachal Pradesh (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
